WANDIARIES: NOUR ARJAAN HOTEL, FUJAIRAH
I was invited by Rotana Hotels last 10th of June for a stay-cation at Nour Arjaan located in the emirate of Fujairah. It was a one-night stay for two so invited Rocel with me. I'm pretty sure they were expecting us and we were greeted with a very warm "Welcome to Nour Arjaan, Ms. Reyes" welcome. Upon check-in, we had to wait a little bit because they prepared a little surprise inside our room.
We stayed in a Premium One Bedroom-Suite overseeing the Hajar Mountains and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It has a separate living room with a mini-bar and kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The provide iron and hair-dryer as well inside the room and bathroom. Well, what more could we ask for?
It was a two-hour drive from where we came from and we were surely hungry so we decided to order butter chicken through in-room dining. It took a little while but the portion was big enough to fill us up! After devouring a good lunch, we decided to head on the 23rd floor and roam around the Bodylines Fitness and Wellness Club. They have an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center with all training equipment, and wellness center with separate male and female massage rooms.
We didn't get to experience the Fitness and Wellness Club but we made sure to take advantage of the pool. We were swimming for about 2 and a half hours with Rocel's unicorn inflatable.
We then head back to the room to prepare for Iftar (note that this staycation was during Ramadan). Rocel and I were welcomed at Murjan Cafe & Restaurant. They are an all-day dining restaurant serving international buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
There was a table prepared for us already when we entered the restaurant. The manager approached us and escorted us as we made our way to the buffet area. The restaurant serves soups and fresh salads for an appetizer. They served Indian and Arabic cuisines mostly and my favorite was biryani of course. There was so much food but I had to make room for dessert. Their variety was so indulging, I had to take one of each. I can't tell if Rocel was enjoying her food or enjoying her chatmate's company. ;) I must say, it was a great dinner.
We decided to unwind and drive around the area after our dinner and ended up watching Me Before You at Fujairah City Center so guys can assume that we ended up coming back to the hotel bawling. Haha!
We chit-chatted for a little while before going to bed to wake up early for next day's breakfast. Too sad we can only stay for 1-night so we made sure we'll enjoy our last meal at the hotel. They serve a vast breakfast from eggs to sausages, salads, croissants, and make-your-own waffles. Well since we didn't know how to make one, we were assisted by the staff. We even met a very kind guy who's traveling around the UAE because of the nature of his work. We asked him how his stay was so far, and he described it as "brilliant".
Rocel and I packed our bags around 12 noon to get ready for check out.
To sum up my experience, I'd rate it 9/10 and I would do it all over again. If you guys were following me on snapchat, I'm sure you guys saw my story and how it all went down that day. We didn't have many pictures because I wanted to show you guys a vlog to make it more visual hence the video above.
