BOHOWANDERS TURNS 1

It has been a year since I started BOHO WANDERS as a fashion/lifestyle blog. I've been blogging (personally) since 2009 during tumblr days, and it was only last year that I decided to really publish it.

Blogging has been a hobby of mine, and obviously still is. It has been a channel of sharing my outfit posts, places i go to, restaurants i eat my heart out, products i love the most, and anything under the sun. It was definitely not an easy road to take especially if you are an 8-to-5 girl who balance work and blog at the same time. There were times where i was not inspired to write and take pictures at all and my blog was idle for months. It was shaky and tricky, but i got there eventually.

Don't get me wrong! It's definitely fun to collaborate with different brands, get freebies, and be the first one to experience what's new in the market. But it's also challenging to manage everything if you are not a full-time blogger.

From the past year, the most important thing i learned is humility. When you become boastful of what you do, you tend to impress and just go all out even if you're drained and dry. You just wanna expose yourself  and please everyone even if in reality, you are already a walking zombie. But when your humility takes over, everything is natural. You go back to the main purpose why you started; share, inspire, and learn. It will never be a struggle when what you do is genuine. In fact, it shouldn't be a struggle at all because it's real. There are people who I look up to, and I can tell; there are still successful people who can keep their feet on the ground.

So to sum it all up, I'm super super duper grateful to all the people/friends/girlfriends/brands/company i met and collaborate with and build relationship with. They are a very big part of what I do now, and they will always be. I am very blessed!

THE FOOD

These mini cupcakes are i swear to-die-for. They were so tasty and filling i could just imagine if it's the regular size. Yum! Cake Khalifa is managed by the very amazing Sajida. It is a custom cakery here in Dubai.  They offer cakes, desserts, cookies, and cupcakes. No probs if you have dietary requirements because they have dairy free, gluten free, and vegan options as well.
