Last night was a privilege to attend and cover the Bloggers’ Masterclass with BBC Good Food ME hosted by Al Ghurair Rayhaan, Rotana.
We were welcomed with canopès and drinks while waiting for the event to officially start.
3 top social media foodie stars cooked up a three-course meal, one of which will make it into Shayan Restaurant’s Ramadan menu - based on OUR votes! It’s like life & death situation when they said the votes will come from us. Haha! But i loved how the competition was really friendly and professional.
Aside from that, i’ve learned few of the basic authentic Arabic recipes which was awesome because i am never a kitchen-person. To make it simple, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO COOK. >.<
So i’m sharing few pictures from last night, so make sure to share some love and comment of which dish looked tasty!
Musakhan rolls by yousef touqan (starter)
zataar crusted red snapper over orange blossom potato puree by farah sawaf (main course)
carrot&pistachio baklava by ritu chaturvedi (dessert)
And we congratulate YOUSEF TOUQAN for winning his first ever cooking competition! Like what he said, “This is off to a promising start!” All of the dish were amazing, but yours really did stand out!
photos around: meeting the developer, and designer x ootd.
Thank you again, Rayhaan Rotana and BBC Good Food for having me. Til the next! :)
