This post is long overdue, but for this particular topic, it gets sweeter and more real through time. Let’s talk about SKINCARE! This year, I committed to taking care of my skin, and it's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Follain introduced me to their Skincare Quiz earlier this year, and I have discovered so many facts and myths that I didn't know. I am now a self-proclaimed skincare junkie and cannot go by the day not doing my routine. Due to the changes my skin has been facing since I moved here, I currently do two separate routine (day and night) to care for my dry/oily/combination skin.

Follain is a clean beauty retailer brand with a curated selection of safest, 100% non-toxic products and they believe that we should never compromise health for beauty. But why clean beauty? It’s healthy. We obsess over how we fuel our bodies, how we exercise, how much sleep we’re getting, etc. So why don’t we care more about the products we apply to our skin? Not only it is clean but it’s also effective and that means you don’t have to worry about synthetic ingredients.

So today, I wanted to share with you the result of my skincare quiz and talk about every single product I use on my face Follain has recommended. And if you are still looking for the right skincare that fits you best, keep reading, and there might or might not be a giveaway waiting for you at the end of this blog.

It's essential to wash and clean your face every night before going to bed. It doesn't matter if you are wearing makeup or not, cleansing your face after a long day is an excellent way to avoid clog pores and oil formations on the skin. I'm using the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser that targets clearing acne and brightens skin.

Apply a generous amount to dry skin (morning and/or night), polish in circular motion, then add water. As a treatment, leave on for 5-10 minutes.

This toner has changed my skin in the best way possible. Unlike other toners, this COQ-10 is 100% alcohol-free and the best option to calm your skin. I always feel fresh every time I use this toner because of its hydrating effect that leaves my skin so smooth, soft, and clear.

*Spritz all over face after cleansing, avoiding eye area. I spray it on a cotton swab and focus on the areas that require more treatment

One of the most important steps in a skincare routine is moisturizing. We always think that we only produce oils when we sleep, but in reality, sleep can also dry out our face. Before Follain, I have always thought that anything "oily" is not for me because my skin is already oil. Why would I want to add on that? Boy, I was so wrong. When I started using this, my face now feels nourished whenever I wake up. It feels very lightweight in the evening and gives you the perfect shine in the morning. Goodbye, signs of aging!

Apply 2-3 drops to cleansed skin, day and night. Follow with a more intensive moisturizer if desired.

This last part is optional, but I do not skip it for the right reasons. I get days where my skin is close to perfect, but I also have days where I get crazy breakouts. I treat my blemished skin seriously because I hate the way it leaves a mark during its healing process. So every night, with or without breakouts, I use my Spot Treatment to care for my previous pimple scars. I also apply a recovery cream under my eye and the sides of my nose that has been dried by the wind. This way, I wake up not having cracked skin!

Apply directly to blemishes (avoid other areas) 3-5 times each day.

You know I always got you so here’s the exciting part. Follain and I are giving away a $100 GIFT VOUCHER to spend on their website to get you started on your clean beauty journey. Read more details below on how to join and win!
